A campaign that celebrates the joy of working together

How do we communicate our products to teams of all sizes and show them the true value of collaboration? Well, we introduce them to a team who are achieving their goals and having fun along the way.

The way we work has changed. It’s more remote,

more collaborative, more visual.

Instead of just telling people how to navigate the ever ​evolving corporate world, we wanted show them how ​easy sharing your ideas can be.

Enter the ‘Dream Team’ - a group of office workers ​uniting to breathe life into this idea that when we work ​together, we can achieve more and enjoy the journey. ​With the help of our dream team and their world, we ​embedded Canva as the way to unlock your team's ​collective best, and bring joy into the everyday.

The company we created

Our fictitious company, CO, is a professional, playful, ​and modern media company.

This gave us the freedom to create a flexible brand ​system that could cover different content verticals ​and a multitude of designs but all work together.



Creative Rollout

Teams are made up of incredible individuals who ​work together to achieve their combined goals.

To embody the workplace heroes who use Canva ​daily to get their jobs done, we created a ​fictitious group of characters who exemplify the ​spirit of teaming up.

Each asset gave us the opportunity to showcase ​the product through the unique lens of our ​characters as well as reflect the ease of ​designing anything in Canva - all in 15 seconds.



To celebrate the campaign's next phase, we ​decided to team up with our community by ​handing our billboards over to them. Located in ​San Francisco and New York, these billboards ​were the perfect opportunity to shine a ​spotlight on our community's creativity.

Over the space of two short weeks, we received ​hundreds of entries. Inspired by the theme of ​'togetherness', three of the biggest and ​brightest community designs were given a prime ​position for everyone to see.

It meant a lot to me to be featured on one of Canva's billboards, both personally and professionally. I am a self-taught designer and the fact that my work was well-received by Canva gave me more confidence in my abilities.

With Canva, there are so many ways to make any ​job that needs to done a bit more fun. Our ​organic and paid social content gave us an extra ​opportunity to share our favorite Canva tips and ​tricks in both practical and playful ways.
